We stand behind every product we sell with a limited warranty. 30 days for older brand name computers; 60 days for older custom-built computers, and 1 year full warranty for NEW custom-built computers. We look forward to earning your business. Every system we sell must pass stringent specifications. This includes an extensive functional test to ensure systems meet factory specifications and a thorough cleaning and wipe down. Refurbished systems may have some minor cosmetic imperfections, but they will not affect the performance of the system. What is covered by this limited warranty? This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the hardware products sold by CTH on a part-by-part basis. What is NOT covered by this limited warranty? This limited warranty does not cover: Software, including the operating system (if any), trial software (if any) and pre-loaded software (if any) Problems that result from:
External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power
Servicing not authorized by CTH
Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive static-maintenance
Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by CTH
Products with missing or altered Service Tags or serial numbers
Products for which CTH has not received payment or are being disputed
Products damaged by misuse, abuse, riot, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, power failure, power reduction, telephone failure or acts of God
Cost of installation, removal or re-installation of this product or any component of the product
Expendable items such as batteries, power adapters, toner cartridges and other operating supplies
Purely cosmetic scratches, dents or other similar damages
WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE How long does the limited warranty last? (Included with purchase) This limited warranty lasts for 30, 60 or 365 days dependent upon purchased item, and begins on the date of purchase indicated on your invoice. The warranty period is not extended if we replace a warranted product or any part(s). CTH may change the availability of limited warranties, at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive. After this warranty period, CTH DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. What will CTH do? If you notify us with a technical issue at any time during the warranty period, we will first determine if the problem is covered under the limited warranty. If not, we will notify you of this determination. If the problem is covered under this limited warranty, we will attempt to diagnose and fix the problem. If a replacement part is necessary to fix the problem, we will ship to you, at our cost, a refurbished replacement part. If the part is out of stock, we will either back order the part or issue you a credit for the refurbished market value of the defective part as determined by CTH. Such credit will fulfill our obligations under the limited warranty for the defective part. We will not ship to an address outside of North America. Once the replacement part is installed and your system is working properly, we may require you to send the defective part to us. During the first 14 days of ownership: In addition to the parts replacement process described above, you may also return the product for a refund during the first 14 days from the invoice date (excluding shipping and handling charges and applicable restocking fees). Prior to any return, however, you must notify customer service and request a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number. If you do not inform customer service, your return may be rejected. To be eligible for return, the Products must be in the same condition as when shipped to Customer and all of the manuals, diskettes, power cords, software and other items included with the Products must also be returned. You must return the entire system to us in its original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information and removable media such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media. We use new/refurbished parts made by various manufacturers in performing under this warranty. All parts and systems are inspected and tested for quality. Replacement parts and systems are covered for the remaining period of the limited warranty for the product you bought. CTH owns all parts returned to CTH. Satisfaction Guarantee At CTH we are so sure you will be satisfied with your purchase that we have a policy called the 7-DAY GUARANTEE. If within 7 days of your purchase (from the invoice date ) you are not completely satisfied, we will refund your purchase for the total amount minus our shipping fees. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee on purchase price on invoice. Used items cannot be returned.
